Pevensey Beauty

When I have travelled around the country in my van and come to rest at the caravan it is always a joy to be able relax and enjoy the beauty of the sunsets and sitting on the decking in the evening and watching the sky and looking at the stars and moon. I have always enjoyed my time at the caravan and always have a great sense of peace and quiet when I am relaxing.

Walks along the beach and riverside is always a joy.

I highly recommend a few days of peace and quiet and enjoy your family in the lovely setting. Great neighbours.

Check out the dates as I do tend to book in myself for breaks too. Holiday dates now available.

Bearing in mind that self catering is definitely much more fun way to spend your holidays. Small to Medium sized dogs are welcome. Young families are welcome to stay and are catered for with travel cots and high chair.

The prices are per night per the caravan and not per person.

We do not supply sheets or towels or duvet covers/pillow cases. These you will need to bring with you. The duvets are changed at regular intervals.

All breakages will need to be paid for. If you take things away from the caravan then you will forfeit the security bond you need to pay. I check the caravan after each guest.

I will be keeping a close eye on good clients and will not be allowing people back who abuse the caravan in anyway, or my neighbours. If I receive a complaint regarding any of my guests they will not be welcome again.

For the best possible enjoyment of the caravan I would ask you to respect the caravan and my neighbours.

We are close knit community and watch each others caravans for maltreatment.

So please take this onboard when you are staying.

I have had several instances at my other caravan where damaged decking and missing household equipment such as knives and bowls and scales have been removed and not replaced. If you do break anything please do not hesitate to contact me to let me know. Replace whatever you break.

Thank you and welcome to my home from home.

Pevensey Lux

My journey down to New Beach then to Pevensey

Last week I drove down from the County Durham to come and spend time down in my caravans.

I took the drastic turn of not using Main Motorways as I was finding them extremely tedious and boring. Not enough to keep me on my toes driving such a long distance for the UK that is.

Anyway on my journey had needed to stop at Huntingdon as I was very tired after having been driving criss cross the east coast of England – met lots of interesting people on en-route. Anyway, as I was saying I pulled into the Huntingdon carpark of the Premier Inn and was a bit uncertain about staying on the carpark with out letting someone know what i was doing. I went into the foyer and spoke to a very polite and well dressed young man called David. He was extremely helpful in allowing me to stop there as long as I needed to. I was very grateful for this as I was very tired. The main purpose of me writing this is to thank him publicly for being so courteous and polite and understanding. I do hope that Premier Inn will be appreciative of the very excellent way he dealt with my request.

He even asked if I needed any water – I thanked him and said I have everything I needed on the van. So off I went to have my rest before setting off on my adventures again.

So if you are looking for a good nights rest. No dogs allowed which is why I sleep in my van with my beautiful girl. I highly recommend this location.

Pevensey Lux

Pevensey Lux still has dates available during the summer season. We are open all year round for guests at Pevensey.

If you enjoy a break from the rush and tumble of life in the city. then this little oasis of peace could be your welcome break.

Fully double glazed, with micro wave and self catering and a secure environment for dogs as well as young children.

This lovely caravan is very popular and is in high demand so early booking is essential in order to get the dates you want. Flexible dates can be arranged.

Check out the dates for the rest of 2023 and why not consider booking early for next year.

Come see for yourself and enjoy the peace and quiet and relax. The beach is only a few minutes walk away, as well as river walks and you can go swimming in the sea or in the parks heated pool. This caravan is ideally situated in the Park – not too close to the entertainment, close enough to enjoy a stroll down to the restaurant and pool table.

Kiddies entertainment is available upon request at the reception. Booking any of their products is done at the desk.

You could also enjoy a stroll into Pevensey Bay itself and really have a good look round at the various eating houses and gift shops. If you are into motor vehicles you could browse through their Motor Bikes and other vehicles to your hearts content. Or just go sit up on the beach and enjoy the beautiful sea air and interact with the local people who would be very happy to share with you anything you may find useful about what is happening a the time of your own particular holiday break.

There is in the caravan a travel cot and high chair for the younger members of the family. Pets are welcome, although we prefer small to medium sized dogs. Dogs must not be left in the caravan on their own as it could be a cause of concern to the neighbours and the damage that may be caused through a dog getting distressed if it is not used to be left unattended in strange places.

Please bring furniture coverings when you bring your furry friend and do not forget their favourite toys.

Sheets and towels and duvet covers and pillow cases are not provided. Duvets and Pillows are provided for all the beds.

Tea-towels you will need to bring with you as well. I have left them in the past – they get taken and never returned.

Please be aware that items will be noticed if they are not in situ after your holiday.

Guests who are caught pilfering will not be welcome to come again.

This is also a potential of prices needing to raised as cost of replacement of items can become a burden. Each time I have to replace knives, scissors and other kitchen items. I will need to consider putting an extra price to compensate the losses.

Thank you

New Beach Caravan no longer available

As circumstances in life sometimes take a change for a different route. From now on I shall be staying at the caravan in New Beach more often.

There are no more dates available other than the ones that are already booked.

I have chosen to make this my home from home for the forseeable future.

Please do not ask for any dates regarding this caravan as it is no longer available.

Thank you.

Extra Space needed

Hi I am just putting this together for anyone who is looking and needing a good secure place to store their belongings long or short term. This company are really helpful and I am using them to store my stuff long term. Their prices are excellent and the location is good if you enjoy travelling around the country. I would highly recommend this company Self Storage with a difference. The owner is really helpful and friendly.
